Mac Pro 2009-2012 DDR3 ECC kit

This 12GB kit contains three 4GB DDR3 1066 ECC UDIMM modules built for Apple Mac Pro towers from early 2009, mid 2010 and mid 2012, plus Xserve units from early 2009. It targets owners of those specific Xeon workstations who need registered ECC reliability at the factory 1.50V voltage. Buyers with later Mac Pro models or non-Apple DDR3 platforms cannot use this kit.

Triple-channel 3 x 4GB layout

The three-module configuration fills one memory channel per processor tray on the supported Mac Pro and Xserve models, enabling triple-channel bandwidth at PC3-8500 speed. Major-brand chips and 2Rx8 rank organisation meet Apple's thermal and timing requirements without extra software or firmware. Systems limited to two modules per tray or requiring registered DIMMs will not benefit from this pack.
