Server memory kit for registered ECC platforms

This 64GB kit contains eight 8GB DDR4 modules built for servers and workstations that require registered ECC memory. Eight single-rank 1Rx8 modules provide 64GB total, giving headroom for virtualization hosts, database buffers and large in-memory datasets. The PC4-17000 rating delivers 17 GB/s of peak bandwidth per module, which is sufficient for typical enterprise workloads; bandwidth-sensitive tasks that scale beyond this throughput will see diminishing returns at this speed grade.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

Modules operate at the JEDEC 1.2V without heat spreaders, relying on chassis airflow for cooling. Registered DIMMs draw slightly more power than unbuffered equivalents due to the onboard register, but the increase is modest at this voltage and speed. With no moving parts the kit adds no acoustic noise; thermal performance depends entirely on the server's fan profile and DIMM slot spacing.
