LGA 1700 mATX board for 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core

This ASUS TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS D4 motherboard fits micro-ATX cases and supports LGA 1700 processors including 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron CPUs. It uses DDR4 memory and delivers a 12+1 DrMOS power design with six-layer PCB, 8+4 ProCool sockets, military-grade TUF components and Digiplus VRM. Enlarged VRM heatsinks, M.2 heatsinks, a PCH heatsink, hybrid fan headers and Fan Xpert 4 provide comprehensive cooling for sustained workloads.

PCIe 5.0 slot and PCIe 4.0 M.2 limits

The board provides one PCIe 5.0 expansion slot for graphics cards or add-in devices that can use the higher bandwidth. Two M.2 slots operate at PCIe 4.0 speeds, so storage devices installed there are limited to that interface generation. Rear I/O includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, while internal headers add a front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connector and a Thunderbolt (USB4) header for future upgrades. Networking uses Intel WiFi 6 and Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet with TUF LANGuard protection.

Check DDR4 memory and mATX case fit

Verify that your memory kit is DDR4, as this board does not support other memory types. Ensure your chassis accepts micro-ATX dimensions and provides clearance for the enlarged VRM and M.2 heatsinks. Confirm the power supply includes the 8+4 ProCool connectors required by the 12+1 DrMOS layout. If you need more than two M.2 drives or a second full-size PCIe slot, this board will not meet those needs.
