1U Switched Metered PDU for Racks

The CyberPower PDU81001 is a 1U rackmount power distribution unit designed for data centres and network closets. It delivers eight NEMA 5-15R outlets with individual switching and per-outlet metering. Administrators can remotely reboot equipment, shed load or cycle power through a web interface or SNMP. The unit operates on 100-120V input with a 12ft NEMA 5-15P cord.

15A Input and 12A Derated Capacity

The PDU accepts a maximum input current of 15A, while regulatory derating limits continuous draw to 12A. This headroom supports typical network switches, servers and storage arrays within a single rack. Real-time metering at each outlet, circuit and whole-unit level enables precise capacity planning. Loads exceeding the derated limit will trip the upstream breaker.

RJ45 Ethernet Management Interface

A built-in RJ45 Ethernet port provides the sole network connection for remote monitoring, outlet control and event notifications via email, SMS or SNMP traps. No wireless, serial-only or proprietary management options are included. Buyers needing out-of-band console access or redundant network paths must look elsewhere.
