The Dell Latitude 5424 Rugged is a new 14.0-inch workstation built to MIL-STD 810G standards. It targets professionals who need a durable device for outdoor or industrial environments. An Intel Core i5-6300U dual-core processor at 2.40GHz and 32GB DDR4 memory handle standard business applications. The 1TB PCIe NVMe Class 40 solid-state drive provides fast storage access.

Outdoor-readable touchscreen and connectivity limits

The 1920 x 1080 WVA panel includes an embedded touch layer designed for outdoor readability. Wireless connectivity relies on Intel Dual Band Wireless with Bluetooth 4.2. Wired I/O includes USB 3.0 ports with closeable protective doors, a native RS-232 serial port and an RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet connector. HDMI output supports external displays. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel HD 520 graphics.
