The Dell OptiPlex 7010 Mini Tower is a new desktop computer built around a 3rd Gen Intel Quad Core i5-3470 processor running at 3.20 GHz with a 3.60 GHz turbo boost. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 512 GB solid-state drive plus a 1 TB hard drive, integrated Intel Graphics 4000, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, a DVD±RW drive and Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. A USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Dual-drive layout adds speed and capacity

The bundled 2.5-inch 512 GB SSD provides fast boot and application load times while the 1 TB hard drive supplies large-volume storage for documents and media. The DVD±RW optical drive allows disc reading and writing for legacy media or software installation. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is already installed and licensed, so the system is ready for domain join, BitLocker encryption and remote management without extra setup.

DDR3 memory ceiling and integrated graphics limits

The platform supports DDR3 DIMMs up to a maximum of 32 GB across its 240-pin slots, so 8 GB today can be expanded but cannot accept newer DDR generations. Intel Graphics 4000 runs at a base frequency of 650 MHz with a maximum dynamic frequency of 1.10 GHz and supports up to three displays via Intel FDI.
