The Dell PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack-mount server designed for data-centre workloads that demand dual-socket performance. Two Intel Xeon E5-2623 v3 CPUs running at 3 GHz provide eight total cores for virtualisation, database or application hosting. 256 GB DDR4 with room to 768 GB

Redundant 495-watt power supplies keep the system running through a single-unit failure, while the integrated iDRAC8 Enterprise licence enables full out-of-band management without extra licensing cost. The chassis includes a quad-port network card delivering two 10 GbE and two 1 GbE connections for flexible fabric integration. Rails are available separately for rack installation.
