Two NVMe drives in one 9.5mm bay

The MB852M2PO-B converts a single ultra-slim optical drive bay into a home for two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs. It accepts drive lengths from 30mm to 110mm, covering 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 form factors. The enclosure targets industrial PCs, server rackmounts and embedded systems that need high-speed storage without a standard drive cage.

Removable trays with eagle-hook lock

Each SSD mounts on a tool-less tray that slides into the black metal chassis and locks in place with an eagle-hook mechanism. The trays provide EMI grounding to protect the drives from electrical damage. Two PCIe Gen 4 OCuLink connectors at the rear follow the SFF-9402 pinout and deliver up to 64Gbps of aggregate bandwidth for both drives.

Check ODD bay depth and OCuLink cabling

Verify that your chassis offers a 9.5mm ultra-slim ODD bay with enough internal depth for the tray assembly. Confirm the host board or controller provides two OCuLink ports wired for PCIe Gen 4 signalling. The package includes the device, a user manual and mounting screws; no drive-bracket adapters or alternative interface cables are supplied.
