This bundle provides two Intel Xeon Gold 6130 processors, each with 16 cores running at 2.10 GHz and a 22.0 MB L3 cache. Turbo frequencies reach up to 3.70 GHz within a 125W TDP. It includes 256GB of DDR4-2666MHz ECC memory configured as eight 32GB modules. Four 3.84TB Enterprise SATA SSDs deliver 15.36TB of total storage capacity.
SATA III 6Gb/s interface throughput
The four included Enterprise SSDs connect via the SATA III interface with a 6Gb/s link speed. This bus bandwidth sets the maximum sequential transfer rate for the storage array. Workloads requiring sustained throughput beyond the SATA III limit will be constrained by the interface rather than the drive media. The 15.36TB capacity is distributed across four physical drives.
Installation in compatible PowerEdge servers
The components are validated for PowerEdge R540, R640, R740, R740xd, T440, and T640 platforms. Thermal paste is included for the processor installation. CPU installation requires matching socket alignment and even pressure to avoid bent pins. Memory population rules for the specific server model must be followed to enable all 256GB. Drive carriers for the target chassis are required to mount the 3.84TB SSDs.
