The iStarUSA S-35-3DE1RD is a mini-ITX tower chassis built around three trayless 3.5-inch hot-swap bays. It targets users who need dense, accessible storage in a small footprint, such as home NAS builders or small-office file servers. A single internal 2.5-inch bay and one expansion slot complete the internal layout.

Aluminium Front Panel Build

A 4 mm aluminium front panel gives the black steel structure a rigid feel while exposing the red hot-swap handles for quick drive changes. Two front USB 2.0 ports provide convenient peripheral access without reaching around the back. The trayless design means 3.5-inch SATA or SAS drives slide directly into the bays, reducing part count and installation time.

Single 120 mm Fan Cooling

One 120 mm fan mounts in the chassis to move air across the drive bays and the mini-ITX board. In typical storage workloads the airflow keeps drive temperatures stable while the fan runs at modest speeds. The chassis supports Flex ATX power supplies, letting builders match power capacity to their specific component choices.
