Modular aluminium base
The Lofree Ciao Dock is a 100-key mechanical keyboard base with a detachable 2.5 mm thick aluminium platform that tilts at 6° or 9°. It ships without switches or keycaps so builders can install their preferred Cherry MX compatible parts. The gasket mount structure and pre-lubricated stabilisers are designed for a consistent typing feel.
3-mode wireless limits
Bluetooth 5.0 stores three device profiles while the 2.4 GHz dongle offers a single low-latency link; USB-C provides a wired fallback. Switching between the three connections is manual and the keyboard cannot maintain simultaneous active sessions across all modes. Battery life reaches 200 days on Bluetooth with backlighting disabled.
Hot-swappable PCB decides fit
The PCB accepts most 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches without soldering, making switch choice the single specification that determines whether this base matches a build. Stabilisers are pre-installed and lubricated for standard layout keys.
