24-bay 2.5" SAS/SATA mobile rack
This enclosure holds twenty-four 2.5" SAS or SATA solid-state drives or hard disks up to 7 mm tall. It mounts in three standard external 5.25" bays and uses six Mini-SAS HD SFF-8643 connectors for host connectivity. Six 15-pin SATA power sockets supply all installed drives.
Suited for high-density SAS/SATA storage
The unit is built for servers or workstations that need many 2.5" SAS or SATA drives behind a single front panel. It does not accept drives thicker than 7 mm and it cannot connect to interfaces other than SAS or SATA, so systems requiring different drive heights or alternative protocols must use other hardware.
