The LUOM E-yield E01 is a USB 3.0 adapter that connects 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch SATA or IDE hard disks and optical drives to a computer. It suits technicians and home users who need to recover data, clone drives, or access old archives without installing the drives internally.

Simultaneous three-drive access

The adapter provides one SATA II connector plus 40-pin and 44-pin IDE connectors, allowing up to three drives to be attached at once. File transfers between the connected drives are supported, and the USB 3.0 interface delivers up to 5 Gbps while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1.

Plug-and-play with external power

No driver installation is required on Windows Vista through 10, Mac OS 9 or 10, or Linux. A 4-pin power connector and a power switch supply electricity to 3.5 inch drives, which cannot run on USB power alone. The main limitation is the 6 TB capacity ceiling, so larger modern drives will not be recognised.
