The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 MK3 is a fully rugged 10.1 inch tablet built for highly mobile field workers. It meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certification for durability in harsh environments. An Intel Core i5-5300U vPro processor at 2.3GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. The daylight-readable WUXGA display supports 10-point gloved multi-touch and digitizer input.

Sustained operation with hot-swap power

An integrated bridge battery allows hot-swapping of the main battery without shutting down the system. An optional long-life battery extends runtime up to 26 hours for full-shift coverage. The fanless design maintains silent operation while the rugged chassis manages thermal load. Optional modules such as 2D barcode, magstripe, RFID, serial and smart card readers expand data-capture capability without adding bulk.

4G LTE connectivity decides mobility

The 4G LTE option provides cellular data access where Wi-Fi is unavailable. Without it the tablet relies on 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless communication. A wired LAN (RJ-45) port is also available for fixed installations. Buyers who need guaranteed mobile broadband must select the LTE configuration at purchase.
