Power Supply Module For ION 19-Slot Chassis
The Transition Networks IONPS-A-R1-NA is a redundant plug-in AC power supply module built for the ION 19-slot chassis. It supports hot-swap replacement so that a failed unit can be exchanged without powering down the system. Up to two modules can be installed in the same chassis for N+1 redundancy. Network operators and integrators deploying Transition Networks ION media-conversion platforms will use this module to keep links active during maintenance.
Input Voltage Range 100-240 VAC 47-63 Hz
The module accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 47 to 63 Hz and also operates from 120 to 250 VDC sources. At the low end of the AC range it draws 3.5 A at 100 VAC. This wide input window lets the same module be deployed in North American 120 V and international 230 V environments without reconfiguration. Buyers who need a narrower input specification or a DC-only variant should verify compatibility before ordering.
Continuous 300 W Output In Redundant Operation
Each module delivers up to 300 W of continuous output power while installed in the ION219-A chassis. When two modules are fitted they share the load, so the failure of one unit does not interrupt power to the blade cards. The supply is RoHS and WEEE compliant and carries a lifetime limited warranty from the manufacturer. Installations that require sustained draw beyond 300 W per module will need a different power architecture.
