This 256 GB quad-channel kit contains four 64 GB DDR4 3200 registered DIMMs with ECC and a CL22 latency. It is built for servers and workstations that require registered memory and will not function in standard desktop or laptop platforms.
Each module operates at the DDR4 standard 1.20 V, keeping power draw predictable in densely populated memory channels. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, which helps maintain stable thermals across all four slots during typical server operation.
Dual-rank x4 organisation allows the memory controller to interleave accesses across ranks, sustaining throughput during extended compute or virtualization tasks. ECC detection and correction runs continuously without interrupting data flow, preserving data integrity throughout prolonged heavy workloads.

No scheduled maintenance is required; if a module fails the ECC logic will report corrected or uncorrected errors in the system event log, at which point you replace only the faulty 64 GB stick.
The CAS-22 latency at 1.20 V sets the timing ceiling; sustained throughput is bounded by the 3200 MT/s data rate and the dual-rank x4 organisation, not by thermal throttling.
