40Gbps Thunderbolt 4 M.2 SATA Enclosure
This Acasis TB405Pro enclosure connects a single M.2 SATA SSD over Thunderbolt 4 at up to 40Gbps. It accepts 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 form-factor drives up to 8TB. The aluminium shell measures 118×57×18mm and weighs 1.1. A built-in fan with an on-off switch provides active cooling. No AC adapter is included; power comes from the host port.
Cooling and Connection Requirements
The enclosure needs a host with a Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 or USB4 port to reach its rated bandwidth. It is backward compatible with USB 3.2, 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0, though speeds will fall to those limits. The supplied 500mm USB-C cable links the drive to the computer. The fan can be disabled for silent running or enabled during heavy transfers to keep the SSD cool.
Suited for SATA M.2 Drives, Not NVMe
