Slot fit and power
The card fits any standard PCIe slot from x1 to x16 without requiring an external power cable from the PSU. It draws power directly from the slot and supplies up to 5V/1.5A per port. A Fresco FL1100 host controller manages the four ports, and each port has its own circuit protector. No driver is needed for Windows 10 or 11; a driver CD is included for older operating systems.
Speed and limits
Each port can reach a theoretical 5 Gbps when used alone, with total bandwidth shared across all four ports. The card handles data transfer only and does not support PD fast charging, video output, or Thunderbolt protocol. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. Mac OS is not supported.
