The Broadcom 05-50077-02 is a PCIe 4.0 x8 host bus adapter built for enterprise data centres. It targets administrators who need high-port connectivity for mixed drive environments. The Tri-Mode design allows a single adapter to manage SAS, SATA and NVMe devices simultaneously.
16 internal ports with 1024 device support
The adapter provides 16 internal lanes and connects up to 1024 SAS or SATA drives. It also supports up to 32 NVMe devices directly through the same ports.
