Two-camera PoE dome kit

The Camius IRIS528R pack contains two white dome cameras that connect through a single RJ45 cable carrying power, video and audio. Each unit uses a 1/2.7 progressive CMOS sensor to capture 5 megapixel footage at 2880 by 1620 resolution and 30 frames per second. A fixed 2.8 millimetre lens provides a 110 degree horizontal field of view suited to wide-area monitoring.

Sustained 2K recording load

Continuous 2880 by 1620 streaming at 30fps keeps the sensor and encoder active around the clock, while the built-in microphone adds a constant audio stream. AI-driven human, vehicle and cross-counting analytics run on every frame, and colour night vision remains active up to 100ft in low light. Footage writes steadily to a Camius NVR, hybrid DVR or a micro SD card up to 256GB without cloud subscription fees.

PoE and ONVIF integration limits

Power over Ethernet confines deployment to the 100 metre cable run defined by the RJ45 link, and the camera draws its entire budget from that single wire. ONVIF compliance allows third-party recorder support, yet advanced analytics such as sound detection and corridor mode rely on Camius firmware. Local storage tops out at 256GB per camera, so long-term retention demands an external recorder or frequent offload.
