Purpose and fit

The CyberPower OL750RTHD is a 750 VA / 750 W double-conversion UPS designed for rack or tower mounting in a 2U form factor. It delivers a pure sine wave output with a power factor of 1, making it suitable for sensitive servers, networking gear and lab equipment that require clean, continuous power. The unit accepts 100–125 VAC input via a NEMA 5-15P plug and provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, four of which are individually switchable for load management.

Sustained-load behaviour

Under continuous operation the UPS runs its inverter 100 percent of the time, so output voltage remains stable at the user-configurable level of 100, 110, 115, 120 or 125 VAC within a ±2 percent tolerance regardless of input fluctuations. At half load the internal battery provides 14 minutes of runtime; at full load runtime is 5 minutes. An optional extended battery module can be daisy-chained up to ten units to increase backup duration for longer outages.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The GreenPower UPS ECO Mode raises efficiency above 96 percent during normal operation, reducing both power consumption and heat output compared with standard double-conversion designs. The multi-function colour TFT LCD rotates automatically when the unit is placed in tower orientation, and audible alarms signal battery mode, low battery, overload and UPS fault conditions. The sealed lead-acid battery recharges from 0 to 90 percent in four hours and is user-replaceable.
