The Dell 400-AEEC is a 300 GB 2.5-inch internal hard drive that spins at 10000 RPM and connects through a SAS 6Gb/s interface. It is built for servers and workstations that need fast, reliable storage in a compact form factor. The non hot-swap design means the system must be powered down before the drive is installed or removed.
Fits 2.5-inch SAS bays with 6Gb/s controllers
This drive slides into any 2.5-inch SAS drive bay wired to a 6Gb/s backplane or controller card. Because it is not hot-swappable, the host must be shut down for installation, freeing the administrator from managing live-insertion hardware.
