This 2U rack system ships with dual Intel Xeon E5-2609v3 six-core processors at 1.9GHz and 32GB of DDR4 memory across 24 DIMM slots. It includes three 1TB 7.2K SATA drives and a Perc H730 RAID controller with 1GB cache supporting RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60. Redundant 750W hot-swap power supplies and a DVD ROM complete the baseline configuration.

The twelve 3.5-inch hot-plug bays and 52TB maximum capacity fit backup, archive or near-line database roles where capacity per rack unit matters. The E5-2609v3 tops out at 1.9GHz with six cores per socket, so workloads that need higher single-thread frequency or GPU acceleration should look elsewhere. PCIe 3.0 slots and the daughter card provide 4 x 1GbE networking, with optional 10GbE upgrades available.
