It ships with twelve 3.5-inch drive bays populated by 6 TB 7.2K SATA hard drives. Dual Xeon Gold 5118 processors provide twenty-four total cores at 2.3 GHz with 3.2 GHz turbo capability. The system includes 768 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory across twenty-four slots.

The PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for continuous data protection during heavy I/O.
