This ESTONE PCIE24A3C adapter adds seven USB 3.0 ports to a desktop computer through a single PCI Express x1 slot. It provides three USB-C and four USB-A connectors for attaching keyboards, mice, external drives, webcams, printers and similar peripherals. The card suits users whose motherboard lacks sufficient native USB ports.
Driver CD and OS Support Define Setup Effort
A driver CD is included for Windows 7 and XP installations, while Windows 8, 10, 11, macOS 10.8.2 and later, plus Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and unRAID, operate without extra drivers. The bundled mounting screws and manual complete the physical installation. Buyers who cannot use optical media must download the RENESAS or VLI driver from another source.
PCIe x1 Installation With On-Board Protection
The card draws power directly from the PCI Express slot, eliminating the need for an external power connector. Each port delivers up to 5 W (5 V / 1 A) and includes independent over-current and short-circuit protection. It fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots compatible with PCIe 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0 motherboards, but some MSI boards may not recognise the card.
