  • Plugs straight onto Raspberry Pi 2B 3B 3B+ Zero Zero W
  • SPI link lets you connect Arduino Nucleo or other MCUs
  • Onboard level shifter handles 3.3 V and 5 V logic
  • Includes code examples for Raspberry Pi Arduino STM32

Universal e-Paper Driver HAT

This LORDWORLD HAT board drives SPI-interface e-Paper raw panels and plugs directly onto Raspberry Pi 2B, 3B, 3B+ and Zero models. An onboard voltage translator allows operation with 3.3 V or 5 V microcontrollers such as Arduino or STM32 Nucleo boards. Development resources and manuals with code examples are included.

Replaces custom wiring or single-panel drivers

The board consolidates the level-shifting and connector logic that would otherwise require a bespoke adapter for each panel size. The jump is worth it when you need to swap between different Waveshare SPI e-Ink displays without redesigning the hardware interface each time.

Sustained operation with 3.3 V or 5 V logic

Under continuous refresh cycles the onboard translator maintains stable logic levels for both 3.3 V and 5 V hosts, preventing signal degradation that can appear during long update sequences. The 32-pin GPIO header remains mechanically secure on the Pi, keeping the SPI bus reliable over extended development sessions.

Küsimused selle toote kohta

Which Raspberry Pi boards does the HAT fit directly onto?

The HAT plugs straight onto the 40-pin header of Raspberry Pi 2B, 3B, 3B+, Zero and Zero W without any adapter.

What wiring step is often missed when connecting the HAT to an Arduino or STM32 board?

The SPI bus must be wired to the HAT's SPI pins and the onboard voltage translator allows 3.3 V or 5 V logic, so the MCU voltage must match the chosen level.

What ongoing care does the e-Paper panel driven by this HAT require?

E-ink panels need no power to hold an image; only refresh cycles draw current, so the HAT itself needs no periodic maintenance beyond keeping connections clean.
