A 39 W Surface Connect adapter charges the 54 WHr battery while the Intel Graphics and LPDDR5X memory run typical office tasks. The fanless-aluminium design keeps surface temperatures comfortable during email, browsing and video calls. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth handle wireless traffic without adding noticeable heat. The 3.5 mm jack and stereo speakers operate without audible coil whine in quiet rooms.

Under continuous multi-core load the NPU and CPU share the thermal budget, so clock speeds settle below peak boost after several minutes. The 256 GB SSD maintains steady write throughput without thermal throttling in our test window.
