This 16 GB DDR4 2666 module adds error-correcting memory to compatible Synology NAS units. It uses a 260-pin SODIMM form factor and runs at 1.2 V with CL19 timing. The unbuffered design suits systems that require non-registered ECC memory.

Replaces lower-capacity or non-ECC SODIMMs

Upgrading from a smaller module or from standard DDR4 without ECC adds both capacity and data-integrity protection. The jump is worth it when the NAS workload includes file serving, virtualization or backup tasks that benefit from corrected single-bit errors.

Limited to DDR4-2666 SODIMM slots with ECC support

The module only works in platforms that accept 260-pin DDR4 ECC unbuffered SODIMMs at 2666 MT/s. Systems restricted to lower speeds, non-ECC memory, or registered DIMMs cannot use this part.
