256GB DDR4 kit for desktops

This kit contains eight 32GB modules that together provide 256GB of DDR4 memory. It is built for desktop PCs, workstations and compatible NAS systems that accept 288-pin unbuffered DIMMs. The modules run at the standard 1.2V and require no ECC or registered support from the platform.

JEDEC compliance and backward compatibility

Each module meets JEDEC PC4-21300 specifications and is RoHS compliant, so the upgrade does not void the original system warranty. The memory will also operate at 2133MHz and 2400MHz if the host platform cannot run at the rated 2666MHz speed.

DDR4 2666MHz interface limits

The DDR4 interface caps the data rate at 2666MT/s with a CL19 latency at 1.2V. Higher frequencies or tighter timings are not supported by this standard, and the unbuffered design means the memory controller must drive all eight ranks directly.
