It targets owners of Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 6, E16 Gen 2, P1 Gen 6 and P16v Gen 1 who need more memory for multitasking or larger workloads. The unbuffered, non-ECC design matches the factory memory layout of those models. Buyers whose laptops use a different form factor or DDR generation cannot use this kit.

The modules run at the standard DDR5 5600 speed with CL46 latency and 1.1 V supply voltage. Because they are unbuffered and lack a heat spreader, thermal performance depends on the laptop’s own cooling airflow. JEDEC compliance means the rated timings are maintained under continuous load without requiring manual voltage or frequency changes. Systems that throttle memory speed under heat will still operate within spec.

Confirm that your ThinkPad model has two free 262-pin SODIMM slots and accepts 32 GB total DDR5 memory before ordering. The kit replaces Lenovo part 4X71M23187 and is validated for the four listed models only.
