The SSK 256GB flash drive combines a USB-C connector and a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port in one zinc-alloy body. It is built for users who move large files between phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers without carrying separate cables or adapters. The drive ships formatted in exFAT for immediate use across Windows, Linux, macOS and Android devices. It does not work with Lightning ports.

The drive maintains high read and write speeds throughout long transfers instead of dropping off sharply halfway through. Sequential rates reach up to 550 MB/s read and 520 MB/s write on a USB 3.2 Gen 2 host, while a USB 3.0 or 3.1 Gen 1 connection limits throughput to 450 MB/s. The metal casing provides fast heat dissipation to keep performance stable during extended workloads. Shock resistance protects data during daily transport.

Installation and Common Issues

Plug-and-play operation requires no driver or software installation on any supported platform. On Windows the usable capacity appears as roughly 238 GB because the OS calculates gigabytes as 1024 MB while the drive uses 1000 MB; macOS shows the full 256 GB. The only compatibility limitation is the absence of a Lightning connector for older iPhone models.
