SmartPro 1950VA UPS for servers

The Tripp Lite SMART2200RM2U is a line-interactive sine-wave UPS rated at 1950 VA and 1950 W for 120 V environments. It protects critical servers, network switches and telecommunications gear from outages, brownouts and overvoltages. Automatic voltage regulation corrects input from 80 V to 151 V, adjustable to 70 V to 153 V, without using battery capacity. The unit fits a 2U rack space or stands as a tower.

Hot-swap batteries and seven outlets

Six NEMA 5-20R receptacles and one NEMA L5-20R outlet distribute protected power to connected loads. Valve-regulated lead-acid batteries are user-replaceable while the UPS stays online, and recharge from 10 % to 90 % in under 4.5 hours. An LCD panel reports operating mode, site-power data and configuration menus. Management interfaces include USB HID, DB9 serial, contact closure and an expansion slot for SNMP or web cards.

Runtime for graceful shutdown

At full 1950 W load the battery provides 4 minutes of backup; at half load of 975 W it extends to 12 minutes. This window is sized for orderly shutdown scripts or brief generator start-up, not for prolonged operation. The 96 % line-mode efficiency reduces heat and energy cost. Surge suppression is rated at 380 joules. The DC bus runs at 72 V. Safety certifications cover UL 1778, CSA, NOM and FCC Part 15 Class A.
