MicroServer Gen10 Plus v2 for Small Business

This HPE tower server is built for small business workloads that need on-premise compute and storage. It ships with a Xeon E-2314 four-core processor running at 2.8GHz and 32GB of DDR4 memory. The 16TB of SATA hard-drive capacity is supplied as four 4TB drives that must be installed by the buyer. Integrated iLO remote management simplifies day-to-day administration.

Sustained load with Xeon E-2314 and 32GB DDR4

The Xeon E-2314 can boost to 4.5GHz when thermal headroom allows, but under continuous multi-threaded work it will settle at its 2.8GHz base frequency. The 32GB of 3200MHz DDR4 unbuffered memory provides stable throughput for virtualisation or database tasks without the latency penalties of buffered modules. A single power supply means no redundancy during extended operation.

SATA III 6Gb/s limits with four 3.5-inch drives

Four 3.5-inch SATA drives share the 6Gb/s interface, so sequential throughput tops out near the bus ceiling rather than the individual drive rating. RAID levels supported by the Smart Array VROC controller will determine usable capacity and rebuild times.
