Aluminium Full-Tower for EEB Builds

The Lian Li TR-01A Silver is an ATX full-tower case built from aluminium and tempered glass. It accepts Micro-ATX, ATX, Mini-ITX, E-ATX and EEB motherboards. Three internal 3.5" bays and three 2.5" bays handle storage, while eight expansion slots support long graphics cards. The open-air layout suits enthusiasts who want flexible cooling configurations.

Cooling Limits Across Three Modes

The case offers Dynamic, Dynamic-R and Performance layouts, each with defined radiator support. Dynamic allows one 360, 280 or 240 mm radiator at the front and one at the side. Dynamic-R adds a base mount for one 480, 420, 360, 280 or 240 mm radiator plus a front mount. Performance supports a front 480, 420, 360, 280 or 240 mm radiator and a top 360, 280 or 240 mm radiator. Fan mounts follow the same 120 mm or 140 mm patterns.

Modular Layout Requires Planning

Switching between the three modes means repositioning panels and brackets, so builders should decide on a configuration before installing components. The 423 mm GPU limit and 167 mm CPU cooler height restrict some high-end parts. Five cable tie-down channels help routing, but the open frame leaves cables visible. The 280 mm PSU length maximum may exclude longer units, and the three drive trays limit total storage devices.
