Compact square touchscreen for embedded projects
The LORDWORLD 4 inch HDMI capacitive touch IPS LCD display C version delivers a 720×720 square panel suited to Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano and PC builds. Its fully laminated construction reduces internal reflections for clearer viewing in kiosk, handheld or dashboard applications. Driver-free USB-C touch simplifies connection on supported Linux and Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8 and 7 systems.
Continuous operation and thermal behaviour
The IPS panel maintains consistent colour and contrast during extended use without the brightness fade seen in short-burst tests. Passive cooling relies on the host board’s airflow, so sustained full-white content may raise surface temperature in enclosed mounts. No active fan or heatsink is integrated, leaving thermal management to the surrounding enclosure design.
Compatibility checks before ordering
Verify that your host can drive HDMI at 720×720 and supplies enough USB-C current for the touch controller. I2C touch requires a configuration file edit on Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, WIN10 IoT or Retropie. Jetson Nano users need Ubuntu with the same config step. Windows 7 through 11 PCs work with USB-C touch out of the box.

Kérdések a termékről
Does the 4 inch IPS panel generate noticeable heat when driven continuously from a Raspberry Pi?
The display draws power only through its HDMI and USB-C connections and has no active cooling, so it stays at ambient temperature during all-day use.
Which cables and host ports must I already have to use HDMI video and USB-C touch together?
You need a standard HDMI cable for video and a USB-C cable for touch; the host must provide both an HDMI output and a USB-C or USB-A port that supplies 5 V power.
Will the 720×720 resolution scale correctly on a Windows 7 desktop alongside a 1080p primary monitor?
Windows 7 treats the panel as a separate 720×720 monitor, so you can set its native resolution independently while the main display remains at 1080p.
