Serial bus servo controller for up to 253 units
This board drives up to 253 ST or RSBL series serial bus servos simultaneously using the ESP32-WROOM-32 module. It accepts a 9 to 25 V supply that must match the servo voltage. The board provides wired and wireless communication options and includes multiple control demos for various host controllers.
Capacity scales to 253 servos
Comfortable headroom exists for large robotic arrays up to the 253 servo limit. The 9 to 25 V range covers common battery packs and bench supplies but the input must match the servo voltage exactly. Systems needing more than 253 servos or a different voltage domain cannot use this board.
Integrates with Raspberry Pi and USB hosts
An onboard USB Type-C port allows direct servo control from a PC. A GPIO UART link connects to Raspberry Pi 4B or 5 while the integrated 5 V buck regulator powers the Pi for tidy cable management. Builds without a Pi or USB host must rely on the ESP32 wireless link alone.
