The MSI RTX 3070 SUPRIM 8G is a refurbished graphics card built around the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU with 5888 CUDA cores. It carries 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus running at 14 Gbps. The PCI Express 4.0 interface feeds data to the GPU, which reaches a boost clock of 1830 MHz in both GAMING and SILENT modes. The TRI FROZR 2S thermal design uses Core Pipes that make direct contact with the GPU and spread heat across the full heatsink length. Airflow Control channels direct air precisely where it is needed, allowing the boost clock to hold at 1830 MHz during extended sessions rather than dropping after a short burst.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

In typical gaming workloads the TRI FROZR 2S cooler keeps temperatures controlled while the TORX Fan 4.0 blades work in pairs to generate focused air pressure with reduced turbulence. The dual BIOS lets users choose between GAMING and SILENT modes without changing the 1830 MHz boost target, so acoustic output stays low when the SILENT profile is selected. Power draw remains within the 270 W rating, so a 750 W PSU provides ample headroom for the rest of the system.
