This 16-module kit delivers 1.5 TB of DDR5 4800 registered ECC memory built for ThinkMate TWX-XS8 tower servers. Each 96 GB module operates at 1.1 V with CL40 latency and a 2Rx8 organisation. The 288-pin RDIMM form factor plugs directly into compatible server motherboards without adapters.

Sustained load behaviour

Registered buffering and on-die ECC keep data integrity intact during continuous multi-threaded workloads such as virtualisation, database serving or large-scale analytics. The modules run at the standard 1.1 V DDR5 voltage, so thermal output remains consistent with the platform's cooling design. No heat spreaders are fitted, relying on chassis airflow for temperature management.

DDR5 4800 interface limits

The PC5-38400 rating sets a maximum transfer rate of 4800 MT/s per module, which defines the bandwidth ceiling for the memory subsystem. CL40 timing establishes the minimum access latency at this speed grade. Capacity expansion beyond 1.5 TB depends on the server's DIMM slot count and memory controller capabilities, not on the kit itself.
