Standalone 1-to-3 Blu-ray Duplicator

The Acumen Disc AD03-MMBD is a standalone multimedia duplicator that copies from USB flash drives, CompactFlash, SD cards, Memory Stick media or optical discs to up to three blank discs simultaneously. No computer or software is required, so operation stays secure and copy speed is not limited by a host connection. It targets offices and archivists who need physical media backups without a PC.

Multi-session and disc-spanning copy modes

Multi-session technology lets the unit combine files from several flash cards onto a single CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc. Disc spanning automatically splits a large flash-media source across multiple blank discs when the data exceeds one disc’s capacity. The machine copies flash media to disc only; it cannot write disc content back to flash media, so users needing that reverse direction must choose a different model.

16× BD-R and 52× CD-R maximum write speeds

The three writers reach 16× for BD-R, 8× for BD-R DL, 24× for DVD±R, 8× for DVD±RW and 52× for CD-R. A single reader ROM handles source discs at 33 MB/s transfer rate. Buyers whose workflow demands faster Blu-ray recording or higher simultaneous target counts will need a duplicator with different specifications.
