The ASUS B850 MAX GAMING WIFI W is an ATX motherboard built for the AMD AM5 socket. It supports Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors with a 10 phase power design and 256GB maximum DDR5 capacity across four slots.
The board provides one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for graphics and one PCIe 5.0 M.2 2280 slot for storage when paired with Ryzen 9000 or 7000 CPUs. Rear I/O includes USB 10Gbps Type-C, Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5Gb LAN for fast data transfers.
DIY features such as a pre-mounted I/O shield, BIOS FlashBack, Q-Antenna and Q-LED Core simplify assembly and troubleshooting. Builders needing more than three M.2 slots or legacy PCI support should evaluate alternative chipsets.
