Server-Ready DDR4 Kit

This 32GB kit contains two 16GB DDR4 2133MHz ECC Registered DIMMs built for the Supermicro Superserver 6028R-Tt. Each module runs at 1.2V with CL15 timing and a 2Rx4 organisation. The registered design adds a buffer that reduces electrical load on the memory controller, making the kit suitable for multi-socket server boards that require registered memory. It is not intended for desktop or consumer platforms that accept only unbuffered DIMMs.

Replaces Slower RDIMMs

The kit upgrades systems running at lower DDR4 speeds or smaller capacities, provided the board accepts PC4 17000 registered modules. Mixing registered and load-reduced DIMMs in the same system is not supported, so all slots must use the same module type. Buyers who need higher densities than 16GB per DIMM or who require load-reduced memory for maximum capacity should look elsewhere, as this kit does not meet those requirements.

Fits 288-Pin Registered Slots

Each stick uses the standard 288-pin DDR4 form factor and installs directly into the server's registered DIMM sockets. The platform supports up to 512GB with current modules and up to 1TB when 64GB LRDIMMs are released, using eight sockets per CPU and sixteen with two CPUs. Because the modules have no heat spreader, airflow across the slots must be sufficient for the operating environment. Ensure the system firmware recognises registered ECC memory before installation.
