This 2 TB internal hard drive uses a 3.5 inch SAS 6 Gb/s interface and spins at 7200 RPM with a 64 MB buffer. It ships with the R-series caddy required for direct installation into compatible Dell PowerEdge chassis. The drive is new and carries the original Dell part number 9YZ268-150.

It fits the R310, R320, R410, R415, R420, R510, R515, R520, R710, R720, R720xd, T310, T320, T410, T420, T610, T620 and T710. Builders needing a different interface, a smaller form factor or higher spindle speeds should look at other drives. The 2 TB limit also means it will not satisfy arrays that require larger individual volumes.
