Wood-accented ATX mid-tower

The DIYPC DIY-ATX08-Wood is an ATX mid-tower case built from steel and tempered glass with a walnut front panel. It accepts ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards and provides seven expansion slots for add-in cards. Four 120mm PWM fans are pre-installed at the front and rear to deliver immediate airflow.

Thermals and acoustics at idle

The pre-installed 120mm PWM fans run quietly at low speed while the mesh top and front panels allow unrestricted air intake. Bottom-mounted power supply placement isolates heat from the main chamber and the tempered glass side panel seals the interior without adding noise. Two USB 3.0 ports and one Type C port sit at the bottom for convenient access.

Behaviour under sustained load

Up to twelve fans can be fitted, including optional 120mm or 140mm units at the top, motherboard side and PSU top positions. A 360mm radiator can be mounted at the top for liquid cooling under heavy workloads. The interior clears graphics cards up to 420mm long, CPU coolers up to 174mm tall and power supplies up to 240mm deep.
