Ultra-Compact 40% Layout

The Epomaker TH40 is a 40 percent mechanical keyboard with 44 keys arranged in an ultra-compact footprint measuring 10.1 in by 3.8 in by 1.4 in. It removes the number pad, arrow cluster and traditional top row to minimise finger travel. A split space bar with 2.25u and 2.75u sections places an FN key between them for efficient layer access. The lightweight plastic chassis and ambidextrous design suit mobile users and minimalist desk setups.

Tri-Mode Connectivity and Hot-Swap Flexibility

The keyboard connects via Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless using the included dongle, or wired USB-C with the detachable cable. This tri-mode arrangement lets the board pair with multiple devices without occupying extra ports. Hot-swappable sockets accept three-pin or five-pin switches so the factory-lubed linear Flamingo switches can be replaced without soldering. South-facing per-key RGB LEDs shine through the keycaps for consistent 16.8 million colour lighting.

Four Programmable Layers via QMK/VIA

VIA software provides four switchable layers, three of which are fully programmable, plus support for Mod Tap and Any Keys functions. Users can remap every key, create macros and adjust RGB saturation or effect speed with FN+G/J and FN+X/C combinations without reopening the software. The gasket-mounted structure and lubed linear switches deliver a deep thocky sound profile. Buyers who need dedicated function keys, a numpad or more than 44 physical keys will require a larger layout.
