The ESTONE PCIE25A2C adds seven USB 3.0 ports to a desktop through a single PCI Express x1 slot. Two ports use USB-C connectors and five use USB-A connectors. It is aimed at users who need more front-panel connections for keyboards, mice, drives, webcams, printers or scanners. The card works with Windows 7 through 11 and Mac OS 10.8.2 or later.

5 Gbps shared bandwidth across seven ports

Each port can signal at up to 5.0 Gbps, but the x1 lane limits total throughput to that same ceiling. Everyday file copies to external hard drives or SSDs run at USB 3.0 speeds, while multiple simultaneous transfers share the available bandwidth. The card draws all power from the slot, delivering up to 5 W (5 V / 1 A) per port without an extra power cable. Very high-draw devices may exceed the per-port limit.

Independent over-current protection on every port

The board measures 4.92 by 4.06 by 1.06 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces. A low-profile bracket and standard mounting screws are included for typical case slots. Each of the seven ports has its own over-current and short-circuit guard, so a fault on one device does not affect the others. Driver installation is required on Windows; a CD is supplied and the driver is also available for download.
