This Lenovo ThinkPad T480 is a 14.0-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine. It ships new with an 8th-generation Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core processor running at 1.6 GHz and 16 GB of DDR4 memory. The 1 TB SSD provides ample space for the operating system, applications and large project files. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks.

Connectivity and expansion

The chassis includes three USB 3.1 ports, one USB-C port, an HDMI output and a Gigabit Ethernet jack for wired networks. Wireless connectivity comes from Intel dual-band Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 4.1. An SD or MicroSD card reader and a fingerprint reader are optional features and may not be present on every unit. There is no optical drive, so software must be installed via USB or network. The included OEM AC adapter is rated at either 45 W or 65 W.
