Micron-compatible DDR4 ECC RDIMM

This 8 GB registered DDR4 module runs at 2666 MT/s with CL19 latency and 1.20 V operation. It is built for Micron server and workstation platforms that require ECC error correction and registered signal buffering. The single-rank 1Rx8 organisation uses major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix. Buyers needing non-ECC or unbuffered memory for consumer desktops cannot use this module.

288-pin registered form factor

The standard 288-pin RDIMM keying fits server motherboards designed for registered DDR4 memory. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the PCB is unimpeded in dense multi-DIMM configurations. Installation follows the usual DIMM-slot procedure; the registered buffer adds a clock cycle of latency but improves signal integrity at high population counts. Systems that accept only unbuffered UDIMMs will not post with this part.

Low-voltage DDR4 thermals

At 1.20 V the module draws minimal power and runs cool without active cooling in typical server chassis airflow. The absence of a spreader reduces weight and avoids clearance issues with tall CPU coolers or tightly spaced slots. Acoustic impact is zero because the memory itself has no moving parts. Workloads that push sustained maximum bandwidth will increase power draw proportionally, but the rated voltage remains 1.20 V.
