The Orico 2139C3-CR-EP is a tool-free enclosure that turns a single 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD into a portable USB 3.1 storage device. Its clear plastic shell lets you see the installed drive without opening the case. It suits users who need quick, temporary access to bare drives for data recovery or file transfer.
Up to 6 TB over USB 3.1
The enclosure accepts 7 mm to 9.5 mm thick drives with a maximum capacity of 6 TB per bay. The USB 3.1 Gen 1 connection delivers up to 5 Gbps transfer rates and supports the UASP protocol for lower latency. A 12.5 mm drive will not fit, and speeds vary with the host system and the drive used.
No AC Adapter Required
Power comes entirely from the USB-C port, so there is no external brick to carry. An LED indicator shows activity and a sleep mode spins the drive down after 10 minutes of inactivity. A thin sponge is recommended for 7 mm drives to ensure a snug fit inside the tray.
