Server-grade capacity

This 256GB DDR4 LRDIMM module is built for enterprise servers and workstations that require very large memory footprints. It operates at 3200MHz with CL22 latency and uses load-reduced ECC technology to maintain signal integrity across high-density ranks. The single-module design simplifies upgrades in compatible HP ProLiant Gen10 Plus platforms. It will not function in standard desktop computers or alongside unbuffered or registered ECC memory.

Density and speed headroom

At 256GB per module, this DIMM supports workloads such as virtualisation, in-memory databases and large-scale data analytics that demand maximum capacity per slot. The PC4-25600 rating delivers 3200MHz throughput while backward compatibility with 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz and 2933MHz systems allows deployment in mixed-speed environments. Capacity scales with available DIMM slots; the module itself does not increase the platform’s maximum supported memory limit.

Load-reduced ECC requirement

The defining specification is the load-reduced ECC architecture, which reduces electrical load on the memory bus to enable high-density 8Rx4 organisation. This module must be installed in systems explicitly qualified for LRDIMM technology; it cannot be mixed with registered or unbuffered ECC DIMMs. Compatibility is limited to the listed HP ProLiant DL325, DL345, DL360, DL365 and DL380 Gen10 Plus models and their corresponding HP part numbers.
