16 million colours with Bridge limits

The strip produces 16 million colours plus tunable white light for everyday ambience or holiday themes. It connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, yet the manufacturer states a Hue Bridge is required to unlock full automations, away-from-home control and a stable connection that does not load the home Wi-Fi. Without the Bridge the feature set is reduced. An outdoor power supply is also sold separately and must be purchased before installation.
